  1. Looking forward on seeing Asura (Asura's Wrath) on one of the playable new Capcom characters here.
  2. Samsung Note 7. Official Introduction. https://youtu.be/9_5Y3US2dKM
  3. The latest trailer features Enchantress in one of the last scenes, seems like she's on a rampage: But I'm actually more excited on Joker's real identity in this movie. Eversince the first trailer and photos came out, I believe he's Jason Todd, the second Robin.
  4. Might as well share one photo. #MJmondays
  5. OT: Ladies and gentlemen, Harry Potter Go is coming...
  6. Never miss a Pikachu again! Whoever made this is a genius!
  7. No matter how many movies they make, anime will always be the best.
  8. Marvel decides not to split Avengers: Infinity War into 2 movies. Marvel has made a small but important change to its film schedule: it's still planning to release Avengers films in 2018 and 2019, but they'll no longer be two parts of the same story. The first film will keep the title Avengers: Infinity War, but the second picture is now untitled, dropping its previous Infinity War — Part II moniker. The studio didn't elaborate on what this means for either film's story. More than likely, the change means they'll be a bit more disconnected than they were originally planned; but, these being Marvel movies, they'll of course have a central through line, so it's not like they'll be entirely disconnected either. Disney and Marvel have decided to make it clear that their plans are changing. Release dates, however, are staying the same as when the films were first announced, with Infinity War coming May 4th, 2018 and the fourth Avengers film coming on May 3rd, 2019.

  10. The Rocketeer is getting a reboot starring a black female pilot! More of the story in the Walt Disney thread.
  11. Disney has plans to reboot its 1991 cult classic The Rocketeer — but with a modern twist. The Hollywood Reporter reports that the studio is developing the movie, this time called The Rocketeers, with a black female lead in mind. According to THR, the new effort is being written by screenwriting partners Matt Spicer and son of The Fonz Max Winkler. The story, set six years after the original, will follow a young African-American pilot who takes up the mantle of the Rocketeer to protect the jetpack technology from an evil scientist bent on turning the tide of the Cold War. The film is still early in its development, but Disney has reportedly been bullish on the project since seeing fans of the original come out in force to a screening celebrating the original's 20th anniversary. The Rocketeer, directed by Captain America: The First Avenger director Joe Johnston, was adapted from Dave Stevens 1980s comic series of the same name. The film was a loving tribute to the pulpy serials of the 1930s and '40s, from the soundtrack all the way down to the Art Deco typography used for the title. While it was mild flop at the time, it eventually earned an adoring following: https://youtu.be/HEDif9aAlkc Casting a black woman to star in the followup allows Disney to keep the property alive while also creating an avenue for a new perspective from the same period. Needless to say, I'm pretty excited about this movie.
  12. This Disney's new princess won't have a love interest. Yey! Right on. There are more important things than finding prince charming.
  13. Well, a USD 4.83 Billion is still better than nothing. They have the spotlight back in the days, primarily here in the Philippines and other Asian countries as well. Oh man, all those funny Yahoo! accounts on YM. Haha! It used to be what I relied on too in grade school before Google showed up. On the side note, I fear for all the porn in Tumblr.
  14. Finally got my first Pokemon this morning!
  15. In 1998, Yahoo had the chance to buy Google for $1-2 Million in its nascent years. They said Google's PageRank ain't worth the pennies. In 2002, Yahoo had the might to buy Google for $5 Billion. They said Google is overvalued! In 2008, Microsoft proposed to acquire Yahoo for $45 Billion. They said they are undervalued! Today, Yahoo got sold to Verizon for a mere $4.8 Billion while Google is valued at over $500 Billion! Moral: Never underestimate others and overvalue yourself. You lose your own value in the process.
