Just in:

Golden State Warriors are absorbing Anderson Varejao's contract for the rest of the season, after Varejao was waived by the Portland Trailblazers following the three-team trade involving Cleveland, Portland, and Orlando.

Expect Varejao to fill in the void left by Festus Ezeli, who's out for the remainder of the season; as well as to serve as backup to Andrew Bogut, whose backup thus far (Mareese Speights) has been wildly inconsistent.

I`ve watched Varejao in a Cleveland jersey for so long, it`s going to be strange at 1st to see him in another uniform. He should help Golden State at the 5 spot, as long as he stays healthy.

varejao will have his minutes limited whenever he plays. he's too injury prone when he plays large minutes. i haven't seen his recent games, i don't know if he still brings the same energy as before he got injured.

in other news, lance stephenson made a sizeable production (stats wise) for the grizzlies!!

good morning sirs

1. Beno Udrih injured will miss the rest of the season. Miami is already depleted with injuries and are still dealing with the loss of Chris Bosh due to blood clots

2. Marc Gasol injured his foot as well, ending his season.

3. Tiaggo Splitter underwent successful surgery on his right hip thursday. The procedure ended his first season with the Hawks.

4. Joe Johnson officially WAIVED by the BKN Nets. Several playoff contenders including Boston are in hot pursuit. Atlanta and Miami are also the teams that are interested in the     services of the veteran SG but several sources indicate that JJ's preference is CAVS who would become their sixth man if they landed him.

5. Andre Miller waived by the Minnesota Timberwolves, been linked to Miami which makes sense due to the Udrih injury.

6. Wizards add newly waived JJ Hickson.

7, Magic add Chris Copeland

8. Suns claimed John Jenkins off waivers

Interesting tidbit during the trade deadline Boston offered to trade for Carmelo Anthony but Anthony refused.

Joe Johnson will sign with the Miami Heat. I don't think they'll be championship contenders even with Joe, but at least he will get some playing time in Miami, especially will all their injuries.

Good morning sirs

1. Newly waived Khris Humphries to sign with ATL

2. MIA waived injured PG Beno Udrih and is interested with ex HOU G Marcus Thornton

3. Andre Miller to sign with SA, Kevin Martin to follow as SA is preparing for the playoffs

4. Former #1 pick Anthony Bennett to be waived by TOR as they sign PF Jason Thompson for the remainder of the season. PHX is a potential landing spot.

additional tidbit / tsismis regarding CAVS (James is rumored to be frustrated with Uncle Drew)

"Sources close to the situation have described the Cavaliers’ locker room as “miserable” at times, even when the team is having success. Part of the problem, according to sources, is that James is an extremely demanding leader and has a strong sense of urgency since he’s 31 years old, in his 13th season and has a ton of basketball miles on his body"

What a bust that Anthony Bennett is. He certainly did not deserve to go #1 in his draft class, but instead of working hard to prove them wrong, he has played terribly for 3 different NBA teams already in his young career. He needs to go overseas and work on his game, if he want to get another shot in the NBA.

Goodmorning sirs!

Fresh from China SF Michael Beasley to join Houston Rockets for the leagues veterans minimum for the rest of the season. He apparently refused a more lucrative offer from Maccabi Tel Aviv as he is serious about his NBA return. Houston also has a team option on his contract for the next season.

Sana he will get his act this time, he has great talent wag sanang panay tira ng tres ulit gagawin nya at magdamo hehehe

I was just talking about Bennett and what he should do next, and now another draft bust Beasley returns to the NBA. I was looking at his wikipedia page, and didn't realize he's already played for Miami 3 different times. Shows something is wrong with you if Pat Riley has given him 3 chances already, and he still ended up wasting them all. Hopefully he finds some maturity already and lays off the weed.

Joe Johnson looking good in Miami. 24 pts in his first game and showing good chemistry with both Dragic and Wade on the floor. If Bosh can still play, they can be a serious threat in the East.

Yes JJ is a good fit sa Miami. They can play small ball and sometimes can guard PF's due to his size. Whiteside coming off the bench is a big help as well.

In other news Baron Davis makes his debut with 76ers affiliate Delaware 87ers. He finished with 8 points (1 dunk and 1 curry like 3), 4 ast and 3 stls in 19 minutes.

I think if OKC can`t beat GSW and reach the NBA Finals, then Durant will think long and hard about leaving, like when Aldridge decided last year that he can`t win in Portland, and took less money to sign with the Spurs.
