I think it's legit. They never do worked angles on live shows. Read on reddit that the ref threw an X sign. No word on how severe the injury is.

And if you guys haven't seen it yet, check Ospreay vs Ricochet from NJPW BoSJ 24 Day 2 (last night, May 18). I enjoyed it better than their bout last year. Easily 5 stars if you ask me. Here's one of the crazy spots that happened:

Check /r/squaredcircle on reddit for the latest news. Mukha pa rin talagang baliktad sakin yang belt. Haha! I think it's too early for a gaijin achieve that pero Gedo fucks up fans with his bookings (in a good way) so who knows?

Match is on as of now.

  • Io Shirai has signed with WWE

  • From WON: (Kairi) Hojo was given the word that she has to come up with a new finisher. A lot of people questioned that. Hojo has the coolest looking elbow off the top rope in pro wrestling, probably the best since a young ICW-era Randy Savage. She was told that’s Bayley’s move. To those in Japan, it’s considered ridiculous because that’s the move she’s known for, but it’s a different world.

Kairi's elbow drop:

Results:

  • Tye Dillinger def. Aiden English via pinfall (Kickoff Show)
  • Shinsuke Nakamura def. Dolph Ziggler via pinfall
  • SmackDown Tag Team Championship -- The Usos (c) def. Breezango via pinfall to retain the titles
  • Sami Zayn def. Baron Corbin via pinfall

  • United States Championship - Kevin Owens (c) def. AJ Styles via countout

*If you told me a year ago that WWE Championship and Jinder Mahal would be in the same sentence, I would have told you to lay off the meth.

==============

On unrelated note, Hojo looks like a beefed up CL (from 2ne1) and that's not a bad thing.

Si Io Shirai yung may belt sa taas sir. Si Kairi yung nasa gfycats.

Here's a pic of Kairi:

Sabi nga sa Wiki ng Stardom: Stardom also places heavy emphasis on the physical attractiveness of its workers, and publishes several modeling photobooks and calendars of its workers per year.

And here's Bray summing up my reaction to Orton vs Mahal:

I've missed out on a lot of wrestling recently but my feed was abuzz with the Alexa Bliss' "This is Your Life" segment and how awful it was. Some outlets went full editorializing. Didn't saw it myself but that's the big thing with RAW this week much to the WWE's chagrin.

The following Raw episode was better than usual. Joe winning is a very welcome surprise. Just made me watch his classic ROH match against one of the GoATs Kenta Kobashi. He's well over his prime but I'm still hoping for a hard hitting shoot fight in his upcoming match against Brock. Sana kasing brutal ng KUSHIDA vs Ospreay 3 (happened last Sat).

Been checking potential Mae Young Classic competitors lately. Really liking 21 year old Toni Storm. Not as polished as Kairi or Io in the ring but she's really hot. Haha! WWE seems high on her and has been pursuing her hard the last few months. She was featured on WWE Axxess 2 months ago.

And in case you haven't heard yet, something big will happen this Sunday.

Man, she's T H I C C. Anyway, Joe's win was unexpected but I think he'll deliver. There would be a lot of physicality between the two (I mean more than expected in a wrestling match). When Orton bled during his match with Brock, I think it was cringe-inducing more than anything but with Joe you kinda expect that it would be hard-hitting and pushing the envelope what PG WWE can do. At least that's what I can see in my head what the match would be.

I can't find a YT channel that has uploaded the whole show yet.

Results:
- David Finlay, Tomoyuki Oka & Shota Umino def. Hirai Kawato, Katsuya Kitamura & Tetsuhiro Yagi
- Togi Makabe, Tiger Mask, Tiger Mask W & Yuji Nagata def. Satoshi Kojima, Jushin Thunder Liger, Hiroyoshi Tenzan & Manabu Nakanishi
- Los Ingobernables de Japon (BUSHI, SANADA & EVIL) def. Taguchi Japan, Suzuki-gun, CHAOS & Bullet Club
- The Young Bucks def. Roppongi Vice to win the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships
- Guerrillas of Destiny def. War Machine to win the IWGP Tag Team Championships
- Cody Rhodes def. Michael Elgin
- KUSHIDA def. Hiromu Takahashi to win the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion
- Minoru Suzuki def. Hirooki Goto
- Hiroshi Tanahashi def. Tetsuya Naito to win the IWGP Intercontinental Champion
- Kazuchika Okada and Kenny Omega went to a one hour draw.

I'd be lying if I say I know most of these guys (is it still the original Jushin Thunder Liger? That guy's like 200 years old now). it doesn't help na my interest in wrestling right now is waning - it'd probably pick up later. Anyway, I've seen sa Twitter that there are people campaigning for the inevitable third part to be done in the US. I don't know about that but I kinda like the more subdued approach of Japanese production.

@roboratzinger, you can check the watch wrestling sites.

Uno is my go to.
http://watchwrestling.uno/watch-njpw-dominion-osaka-2017-61117/
The match is on part 5 and 6 of the dailymotion links.

Was able to watch it live. May just be the best match I've ever watched. Meltzer gave it 6.25 out of 5 stars.

KUSHIDA vs Takahashi was also great. KUSHIDA's on fire. His match against Ospreay from 2 weeks ago (Best of Super Juniors Finals) got 5 stars.

Let's hope Nak gets the chance to go all out. Given the right scenario, he can have 5 star matches with AJ and Sami. One last takeaway, he mentioned Ziggler might go to Japan when his WWE contract is done.

The fourth girl from the left, she's the Olympian BJJ chick that was in their performance center something, something...I wasn't really paying that much attention and I don't know where I'm going with this but she's hella cute.

...and WWE released Austin Aries. No details on the release yet but the smarks are abuzz with speculations behind the release. As it is now, this isn't doing 205 Live any favors.

WWE has been shit lately. Things might get interesting soon if they book Summerslam right. If it tanks, there's NXT Brooklyn 3.

A Fatal-4-Way match is already set for the Universal Championship. Brock may drop the belt since he's declined to re-sign with WWE. His contract ends around WrestleMania 34. Basing from the Summerslam poster, we might get a Triple-Threat for the WWE Championship (Mahal vs Cena vs Nak). Nak vs Cena is set to happen next SD for a #1 Conterder's match.

If you're tired of Sports Entertainment and want some good Strong Style Professional Wrestling, check out NJPW's G1 Climax right now (started on July 17). It's a round robin tournament with two 10-men blocks. That means 9 single matches against different opponents just for Kenny Omega. He's on the same block as Okada and their 3rd match is set to happen on August 12.
